Natural Hair Care Cosmetics

Well-groomed hair is the best accessory for women and men alike. Whether long or short, light or dark, curly or straight, they all share one thing: they should look healthy. LaQ’s natural hair care cosmetics will do the job for you. Just a few tweaks to your daily routine will make the difference.

With the rise of fantastic care products, a trend called “hair-care obsession” (or “włosing” in Polish) has emerged, focusing on mindful hair care. Good news – you don’t need to be a hair fanatic to have stunning locks.

Embrace Good Habits

Hair care doesn’t have to mean hours in the bathroom. A few simple habits and the right products are enough. Since you’re on the LaQ site, you’ve already nailed the product part. Meanwhile, we’ll share how to adopt a few good hair care habits to keep your strands strong, shiny, and healthy. You can prevent hair loss, dryness, or split ends with easy, routine steps.

How to Care for Your Hair

Washing the Scalp

It might seem counterintuitive, but shampoo is for washing your scalp. Massage it in – this stimulates the scalp, nourishing hair follicles for faster growth. Wash twice: first to remove sebum and dirt, then to nourish the scalp. For the hair itself, just let the foam glide over it briefly. You’ll soon notice that hair you don’t scrub in the bath rewards you with smoothness.

Conditioner or Hair Mask

The only living part of hair is the follicle, so the length needs feeding. If your hair isn’t high-maintenance, a good shampoo will do. Otherwise, use a mask or conditioner. No need to leave it on for hours – just swipe it through each wash and let it sit for a moment. A rich-formula product can revive curly hair’s bounce or banish the dullness of dry hair. A good conditioner or mask deeply nourishes, giving hair a natural, healthy glow.

Gently Dry Your Hair

Like washing, avoid rubbing when drying. Squeeze water out with a towel made of the finest, softest fibers. Skip rough towels, and right after, apply suitable hair products like leave-in conditioners or serums.

Don’t Brush Wet Hair

Wet hair is prone to mechanical damage. After gently toweling, apply a leave-in conditioner, detangler, or heat protectant (these often ease combing). Then, finger-comb and use a comb.

Don’t Sleep with Wet Hair

It might seem like letting hair air-dry is good, but not quite. A wet scalp breeds bacteria, so drying hair and scalp before bed is a must. This habit is key if you have scalp issues.

Drying Hair

To dry, use a hairdryer with a cool setting. It takes longer, but your hair will thank you with health and shine. If time’s tight, shield hair from hot air with a heat protectant. Apply it to wet hair before detangling to prevent breakage and tangles.

Brushing Hair

Brushing wet strands is a crime against beautiful hair! If a post-wash mask smooths them enough, just finger-comb and dry. For tangles, use a leave-in conditioner, heat protectant, oil, or silicone-based product. Brush dry hair often, starting from the ends up to the roots.

Don’t Sleep with Loose Hair

You’d think loose hair is healthy hair. There’s some truth to that, but not for sleeping. Tie hair in a loose braid – it prevents crushing, pulling, or rubbing against itself and the pillow. This small change makes a big difference!

Protect Hair Ends

Can’t grow your hair due to constant split ends? No wonder – ends are the most delicate, damage-prone part. Moisturize them daily with oils or use end-protecting products like serums. You’ll see positive changes fast.
